Palace of Versailles Tours is funded by affiliate commission. This page says exactly how that works, what it does and does not change, and who is responsible for what.
The commission
When you book a tour through a link on this site, Palace of Versailles Tours may earn a commission from the booking platform, at no extra cost to you. You pay the operator's own price. Nothing on this site adds a booking fee, a service charge or a mark-up.
Who we are not
- We are not the Château de Versailles or its public establishment, and we have no connection to it.
- We are not the ticketing authority. Official admission is sold by the estate at chateauversailles.fr.
- We are not the tour operator. Every tour listed here is run, staffed and insured by the company named on its own listing.
How tours get listed
Operators cannot pay for placement, position or a badge on this site. Tours are ordered by their own rating and review volume, and the three featured at the top of the homepage were chosen for that plus a spread of genuinely different days out. A listing with a complaint attached keeps the complaint.
Where the numbers come from
Prices, ratings, review counts, durations and inclusions are the operators' own published figures, captured on 2026-09-01 from the booking platform. They drift. A price is a starting price, per person, and the platform is the authority on what you will actually pay at checkout. Opening times and admission for the estate itself come from chateauversailles.fr.
Reviews
Traveller quotes on this site are paraphrases of real reviews left on the booking listings for these tours. Nothing is invented and no count is padded. The star ratings and review totals in the tables are the operators' own figures and are labelled as such; this site collects no ratings of its own and publishes none as structured data.
Booking platform
Tour links on this site go to Viator, which handles the booking, the payment and the cancellation. Their terms apply to your booking, not ours. If something goes wrong with a tour, they and the operator are the people who can fix it.
